Anadolu University

Anadolu University houses 12 faculties, 3 of which are distance education, 6 schools and a State Conservatoire, 4 vocational schools, 9 institutes (4 graduate schools, 5 institutes) and 19 research centres. The Faculty of Civil Aviation and the faculties for distance learning are the only ones giving this education in Turkey. Anadolu University has over 1500 faculty members who are dedicated to teaching as well as to excellence in their field. They place strong emphasis on academic endeavours and strive to make students learning experience as meaningful as possible.

Students who prefer Anadolu University will benefit from a well developed technological infrastructure, qualified teaching staff and enjoy a congenial academic atmosphere dedicated to prepare them to be the best in the 21st century. Anadolu University has two campuses with many facilities. The Faculty of Law is situated at the Yunus Emre Campus which is within walking distance to the city centre. Anadolu University has all the advantages of a campus university.

Campus Cinema

The University houses excellent sports facilities in both campuses. Half olympic swimming pool, 3 sports centres(including squash, basketball and volleyball areas, table tennis, tennis, fitness centre..), fitness centre with a sauna, football green, tennis courts(both indoors and outdoors), etc.. There is also a roller blading area near the campus and a riding club just outside the city.
The University has it’s own accommodation facilities including a hotel and 2 boarding houses within the campus. Other campus facilities include internet cafes, a movie theatre, several concert halls, an auditorium, many conference halls, several cafeterias and restaurants, shopping centres, a private airport, a hospital and even it’s own television and radio channel. The University organises international festivals, including the Annual Eskişehir Festival, International Cinema Festival and Ceramic Festival and many academic activities, conferences and symposiums.

The main library has a large collection of law materials consisting of source materials, journals, textbooks and monographs. The Library also subscribes to many databases and e-journals.


A Student Counselling Service exists to offer confidential help to students with any problem or anxiety. The University has many very active student clubs, including Photograpy, Cinema, Scuba Diving, Mountaineering, Caving, Bridge, Rock, Jazz, Dancing, Voluntary Social Services,..etc.

Anadolu University is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities and access and welcomes applications from disabled students. All university buildings are accessible by disabled students and our library has a special section for deaf and visually impaired students.
